Show Synopsis IMPORTANT:  KEEP IT BRIEF – we       reserve the right to edit! The Play: On his 21st birthday, Javier, a promising poet,       learns he was adopted from an orphanage in Nogales, Mexico. He puts off       graduate school to explore his roots by traveling the U.S.-Mexico border       from San Diego Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. A multidisciplinary narrative,       “Amexica: Tales of the Fourth World” crosses time, culture, and geography,       exploring the border’s rich and complex heritage, evolving society, and       the fate of the region and its people.
What the audition will consist of – anything to       prepare in advance? Cold readings from a new script. Monologues (2-min or       less) welcome but not required.
